Sawing Lumber

Welcome to the Sawing Lumber section of our website. Our sawmill, which is mobile on a integrated trailer, arrived in the spring of 2021. I had wanted to buy one for years and it was time. The summer of 2021 was a busy one with a couple large time sensitive projects on my plate. As a consequence the mill got built and used a little bit to make sure it worked properly but that was all. The summer of 2022 will be the first time it gets used extensively. We are new sawyers and have much to learn, but that’s OK too. We plan to saw enough lumber to build a new equipment garage, some interesting hardwood for the woodshop and some lumber to sell. We have quite a few logs which should keep us busy for a while.
